Sander-Alexandria International Airport is the only airport in the Sander City metropolitan area. This airport is located around 1 mile southwest of Sander City, with the airport being owned by both Sander City and Alexandria.

History Edit

Sander Alexandria International Airport was built in 1941. Around two days after the Pearl Harbor attack, the airport has turned into an air base until 1946, when it turned into a passenger airport. By 1947, Sander Alexandria International Airport becomes the busiest airport in the state.
