Sander-Alexandria International Airport (IATA: SND, ICAO: MVSA, FAA LID: SND) is the only airport in the Sander City metropolitan area. This airport is located approximately 1 mile southwest of Sander City, with the airport being owned by both Sander City and Alexandria.
History[]
Sander Alexandria International Airport was built in 1941. Around two days after the Pearl Harbor attack, the airport has turned into an air base until 1946, when it turned into a passenger airport. By 1947, Sander Alexandria International Airport becomes the busiest airport in the state.
